NSWRL is committed to the Indigenous community and will continue to engage communities and improve lives. As a proud supporter of Indigenous rugby league, through its range of carnivals, camps, clinics and projects NSWRL also connects to the wider Indigenous communities.
Tournaments and gala days are held throughout the year with NSWRL encouraging participation in the game and athletic excellence while fostering community spirit and pride.
NSWRL also assists the Indigenous community through a range of social programs and projects and partners with the NSW Ministry of Health to help deliver the Knockout Health Challenge. The program encourages and supports community teams and groups to address their diet and exercise routines and make healthy, positive lifestyle choices.
Through programs and projects NSWRL will continue to support and encourage healthy lifestyles, engaged communities and the importance of education and sport in 2016 and beyond.
