The mighty Lane Cove Rugby League Club is set to grace the fields of the north shore once again, and will be fielding teams to take part in the local North Sydney District Rugby League 2012 competition. This proud club was one of the most successful within the district, winning numerous competitions throughout last century, and makes its comeback after over 15 years absence.

North Sydney Junior League administrator Kevin Nicholls said,

“It is wonderful to see the resurgence of this distinguished club. To witness kids running around in the famous black and gold of the Lane Cove Tigers will be very special, and will give local players an opportunity to take part in Rugby League. I’m hopeful we will see the Tigers grow again into the force that they once were.”

The Lane Cove club will hold an information evening, as well as a free come and try session for 5-12 year old boys and girls on Thursday 8th December, at Lane Cove public school at 7pm.
