After the conclusion of a thrilling 2014 VB NSW Cup season, we take a look back at the top ten thrilling finishes from the year. Coming in at number four is a stunning comeback by the Illawarra Cutters against the Cronulla Sharks in Round 13.

In a game of two halves in more ways than one, it was the Cronulla Sharks who exploded out of the box setting up a 22-4 lead before a Cutters try on the stroke of half-time reduced the defecit to 12 points with 40 minutes remaining.

The depleted Sharks side, who were missing a host of regular starters, tried valiantly to build on their lead but were run down by a Sam Williams inspired Cutters side; with the half-back nailing a field-goal to steal an memorable win.

Illawarra Cutters 23 (T Cranston 2, Y Glymin, C Lewis tries; S Williams 3 goals; S Williams field goal) def. Cronulla Sharks 22 (V Holmes, D Weston, M Mexico, S Vunivalu tries; V Holmes 3 goals) at WIN Stadium.
