The NSW VB Blues were greeted with pitch perfect conditions on their first day in camp at Coffs Harbour today but it was business as usual as Laurie Daley put his men to task in their first field session.

For the first time in eight years the Blues have found themselves in unfamiliar territory, being the current holders of the Origin Shield, but NSW veteran Josh Morris knows QLD won't go down without a fight.

Game one of last year's origin series earned itself the title of being one of the most brutal encounters in the game of Rugby League, and it seems that it's not looking at slowing down any time soon.

A familiar face was also welcomed into camp in the form of injured Sharks skipper Paul Gallen.

Answer the call and get behind the NSW VB Blues when they take on Queensland in this year’s Holden State of Origin. The only Origin match in Sydney this year is played on May 27. There’s no better way to support the Blues than being a part of the Blatchys Blues crowd - join the Official NSW VB Blues supporter bays for Origin I here.
