The NSW Blues were yesterday swamped by more than 150 of their most passionate fans.

Adults and children from Coffs Harbour’s Wongala Estate, an Indigenous community in the centre of the north-coast region, turned up in their droves to watch the Blues train.

As coach Daley and his side finished their run through, the fans got the opportunity to meet and greet the Blues’ best, with the entire squad and coaching staff signing autographs and posing for photos with their most loyal of supporters.

The Blues squad and Loz posed for a group photo at the end of the session, highlighting how much the NSW side means to so many people in the region – and, of course, across the entire state.

At the conclusion of the group photo, Blues forward Ryan Hoffman presented his 2014 Melbourne Storm Close The Gap jersey, framed by the NSW Rugby League, to the group – a sign of what the community means to him and the NSW Blues team.

Answer the call and get behind the NSW VB Blues when they take on Queensland in this year’s Holden State of Origin Game III in Brisbane at Suncorp Stadium on Wednesday 8 July. There’s no better way to support the Blues than being a part of the Blatchys Blues crowd - join the Official NSW VB Blues supporter bays for Origin III here. The Star is the best place to watch the action for Origin III if you can’t make it to Brisbane – join in the fun and watch the action from the best seats in Sydney here.
