The 71st NSWRL All Schools Carnival reached a thrilling conclusion today as the state’s best Elite and Girls sides met on the third and final day of competition in Western Sydney.

More than 4000 children from 200 schools turned out for Australia’s biggest rugby league carnival, with the next generation of rugby league stars catching the eyes of a raft of interested onlookers including True Blue and NSW Origin legend Brad Fittler.

Spectators at the final day of competition in this year’s NSWRL All Schools competition had plenty to be excited about, witnessing the cream of the crop in the NSW junior ranks strut their stuff in a thrilling day’s play.

Both Patrician Brothers’ College (under-13s and under-14s) and Westfields Sports High (under-15 and under-16s) celebrated multiple championship victories, while in the girls competition it was Canterbury that triumphed against Illawarra.
