New Era Stadium hosted the 14th annual Cabramatta Nines tournament last Saturday.

Players and officials ventured from different parts of the world to take part in the event, which included various European teams, players from New Zealand, a Canadian team, plus many more.

The North Queensland Hornets consisted of players that had never stepped foot off Palm Island before that were finally able to showcase their Rugby League ability to the world.

International Federation Development Manager, Tas Baitieri, said the day was a success despite the unfortunate conditions that put a halt on the tournament.

Unfortunately, the tournament cannot be re-scheduled.
