Round 6 of the Sydney Metropolitan Women’s Rugby League saw a mix of close contests, come from behind victories and high scoring affairs as the Division 1 competition nears its halfway mark. After leading at halftime, last year’s Grand Finalists Forestville succumbed to a strong finish from Redfern All Blacks.
After a slow start to the season, 2015 Premiers Greenacre came away with their third successive win after defeating the star-studded Cronulla-Caringbah team 22-20. The remaining Division 1 game saw competition leaders Mounties put in another dominant performance to defeat Berkeley Vale 52-22
