This weekend saw the final round of the Division 2 Sydney Metropolitan Women’s Rugby League along with some scheduled catch-up matches in Division 1. The Semi-Finals have taken shape in Division 1 and are almost finalised in Division 2 with just one catch-up match scheduled for next weekend.

Division 1 saw Mounties secure the Minor Premiership, continuing the strong season club has enjoyed across all grades. It is an impressive feat for the side, with Redfern, Greenacre and Cronulla-Caringbah all providing significant competition throughout the year.

Berkeley Vale scored a convincing win over Forestville to seal their place in the top five going into the Division 1 Semi-Finals next week. The Semi-Final match-ups for Division 1 have been confirmed as listed below.

In Division 2 Glenmore Park and Berala had wins to confirm their places in the top two, meaning after Berala play their final match of the regular season next Saturday against Chester Hill, Glenmore Park and Berala will meet the following week in the Major Semi-Final. In the Division 2 Minor Semi-Final Minchinbury will face up to Penrith Waratahs.
