Penrith Panthers winger Josh Mansour isn't worried about being potentially overlooked for the Kangaroos' Four Nations opener against Scotland.
Mansour and Wests Tigers skipper Aaron Woods were unavailable for the Kangaroos' warm-up Test against the Kiwis in Perth nine days ago as they were each getting married.
In Mansour's absence Sharks flyer Valentine Holmes made his international debut on the left wing and produced a starring role in the Kangaroos' 26-6 win over New Zealand.
Roosters utility Blake Ferguson has played in both of Australia's Tests in 2016 on the opposite wing alongside centre Josh Dugan.
"I'm not thinking too much about selection at the moment. Whatever happens, happens. I'm confident in my own ability," Mansour said.
"I'm keen to return to the side though. You don't have many opportunities throughout the year to play for the Kangaroos. If the opportunity arises, I'll take it with both hands."
Mansour last played for Australia at the 2014 Four Nations and featured in all four of the Kangaroos' games.
Having made his State of Origin debut for New South Wales and earning Dally M Winger of the Year honours this season, Mansour is hoping to add to his season of achievements in Hull this weekend.
"I can't wait to strap on the boots with the boys," Mansour said.
"I'm very excited to be back playing footy. It will be good to do it with a green and gold jumper back on."
Mansour also quickly ran his eye over Australia's upcoming New Zealand and England clashes.
"You have obviously have the Wayne Bennett factor for England. They also have a star-studded squad with obviously James Graham and the Burgesses," Mansour said.
"Then there's obviously the Kiwis. They're the number one team in the world. They have a good team and a good culture with what they're building there.
"It's going to be a tough tournament."
