In big news for the Intrust Super Premiership NSW, the Penrith Panthers have relegated star trio Matt Moylan, Peta Hiku and Waqa Blake to the competition for Round 6.

NSW VB Blues star Moylan, along with Hiku and Blake, has been dropped from the Panthers NRL side following a breach of team protocol. The team was due to take on the Rabbitohs on Friday night.

Bolstered by the trio's inclusion, the Panthers' Intrust Super Premiership NSW side will face the Newcastle Knights as they look to bounce back from an 18-10 loss to the Bulldogs in Round 5. It will be the highest-profile players to play in the competition for Penrith since Jamie Soward and James Segeyaro combined for the team in 2016.
