The final round of the regular season in the Tarsha Gale Cup kicked off over the weekend, with the Canterbury Bulldogs being crowned the minor premiers.

Cronulla escaped with a tight 24-22 victory over Penrith, as Illawarra in their 14-10 win against Canberra, while Parramatta defeated South Sydney 22-12.
