NSW VB Blues players awoke bright and early on their fourth day as a unit, readying for their second training session at Cudgen Leagues Club Oval.

Though prior to that, backline members James Tedesco and Josh Dugan spoke with the media, talking of their roles and responsibilities in the team ahead of Wednesday’s Origin series opener.

Put through their paces under the watchful eyes of coach Laurie Daley and offsider Peter Sterling, the Blues underwent an extended field session, before hitting the gym in the afternoon.

Returning to the Mantra on Salt Beach after the strength session, prop David Klemmer and hooker Nathan Peats spoke with the media, praising the team’s efforts on coming together as a unit.

Away from the field, True Blue Steve ‘Blocker’ Roach took VB Blues fans on a tour around the side’s facilities, showcasing the comfort and style of the setup in Kingscliff.

This evening, VB Blues and Cronulla Sharks pair James Maloney and Wade Graham are set to appear on Channel 9’s The Footy Show, talking the very latest out of the NSW camp.
