NSW forward Wade Graham insists he and his VB Blues teammates remain on high-alert leading into next week’s Origin II, urging that a ‘champion’ Queensland side has it all to play for when the pair meet at ANZ Stadium on Wednesday (21 June).
Soon to be three games into his Origin career, Graham says he’s under no illusions of the task that awaits.
“It really means nothing now if we don’t back it up in Game Two,” Graham says.
“This arena, you can’t let your guard down for a second. If we think winning one game means anything, we’re in for a real shock.
“Just because you beat the champion in one round doesn’t mean you get his belt off him. We’ve got a lot of work to go before we can be anywhere near what these guys have produced over the last 10 years.”
