An injury cloud continues to hover over NSW VB Blues cordner Boyd Cordner, but Josh Jackson believes he's highly likely to play the Origin decider next Wednesday night.
Speaking at today's media conference, Jackson gave hopes to VB Blues fans everywhere by declaring both Cordner and fellow injured second-rower Tyson Frizell strong chances to partake in the decider.
"All the boys that are in doubt or carrying little injuries, their body language and the way they're going about it suggests to me that they'll be fine to go," Jackson says. "Tyson Frizell trained yesterday and he pulled up all good and Boyd Cordner's getting around fine so I'd imagine those guys will be good to play.
"Everything suggests that those guys will be fine to go."
The declaration comes after Jackson's call that he would be honoured if Cordner were ruled out and coach Laurie Daley temporarily handed the Bulldogs forward the captaincy.
