It was one last hurrah for VB Blues great Brett Morris in 2017; unfortunately not obtaining the desired result despite having a solid series.
Morris - no stranger to Origin heroics - played an instrumental part in the opening game at Suncorp Stadium, before scoring try three weeks later at ANZ Stadium.
It wasn't to be for Morris and his VB Blues, but the NSW Rugby League is greatly appreciative of his services in the sky blue jersey since 2010.
