The Entrance Tigers topped off a stunning 2007 season last
week when their Jim Beam Cup premiership winning halfback and second-rower Alex
Moore and Brian Tritton took out the honours at the annual Jim Beam Cup
presentation night.
Mooretook out the Jim Beam Cup Player of the Year following a masterful performance
in his side’s Grand Final victory against the Sydney Bulls.
The 26-year-old and former Manly first-grader finished the
year as the Jim Beam Cup’s highest point-scorer and try-scorer.

Tritton, meanwhile, took out the gong for the Jim Beam Cup
Representative Player of the Year following his strong performances as captain
of the JBC Quad Series team, which finished runners-up to NSW Country at the
annual Quad Series event, this year held in Tamworth.
The talented second-rower was equally as strong for the Tigers
during their premiership season and was a major contributor to their stunning
Grand Final result against the Bulls.
The Ray Stellar Memorial Award went to Windsor’s
Dick Prior, in recognition of his outstanding efforts with the Windsor Wolves
which has seen the club move from strength to strength in League’s most
competitive arena that is Western Sydney.
To complete the awards night, this year held at Mounties
club in Parramatta,
the Jim Beam Cheerleader of the Year was presented to Kate Alexander of the
Wests Tigers.
