1st Minute: Great start for the Knights as their fullback Matt Cooper sprints clear and does it all himself from 60m out. The try is not converted but the home side lead it 4-0

6th Minute: The home side has started the better of the two and they have their second try of the match after their number 6 Hudson Young goes over after some nice footwork. Brendan O'Hagan makes no mistake with the conversion and they lead it 10-0

11th Minute: Its all the Knights here at Cessnock as they already have their third for the match thanks to their lock Kurtis Dark. O'Hagan converts again and it 16-0

17th Minute: A great team try finished off by the captain and front rower Brodie Jones. O'Hagan just misses the conv from the sideline and it is 20-0 after almost 20 mins

19th Minute: Manly are on the board following a mistake from the Knights, Manly were gifted a set inside the home sides 20m and Brydon Ramien crashes over near the posts. Caleb Carter converts the try and it is 20-6

22nd Minute: Another try to the Sea Eagles as the Caleb Carter, the winger, comes in looking for the ball and burrows his way over from close quarters. Carter converts his own try and it is 20-12

28th Minute: Right before half time, Brodie Jones has bagged himself a first half double the Knights to extend their lead to 26-12

HALF TIME: A high scoring first 30 mins comes to an end and it is the home side that leads it 26-12

32nd Minute: Manly first on the board in the second half courtesy of the Sea Eagles fullback, Luke Polselli. A great conversion from Carter sees the score now 26-18

42nd Minute: Some great defence by the Knights has seen them continually turn away the Sea Eagles however a 40/20 for Manly will see them on the attack again and finally after sustained posession Luke Polselli goes over in the corner. The conversion is waved away but we have a game on our hands now 26-22

47th Minute: Just when it looked as though there was no wind left in the Knights sails, they score a vital try thanks to some slight of hand by Heath Gibbs who fooled his opposite number to score in the corner. O'Hagan cant convert but lead it by eight again 30-22

FULL TIME: Try as they might, the Sea Eagles were not able to eat any further into the Knights lead and ultimately went down 30-22... We will have a short break now and be back with the SG Ball clash at 3pm

COACH: TONY CLARKE

5th Minute: No score here as yet in the SG Ball fixture, the Knights have come the closest but a great covering tackle by the Manly winger put his opposite number in to touch just short of the line 0-0

10th Minute: Still no score but the Knights have been threatening, but to Manly's credit, their scramble defence has been first class 0-0

13th Minute: First try of the match somewhat against the run of play as a spilt Knights ball is picked up by Clint Maguire for Manly and he sprints some 40m to score untouched. Hynes converts and its 6-0 to the away side

20th Minute: Has been a scrappy affair to this point with plenty of penalties and drop ball not really allowing the game to flow in favour of either side

30th Minute: Not much to report here, been a fairly frustrating half for the supporters in the stands and the players too one would imagine

34th Minute: We finally have more points and it was an individual effort out of dummy half by the Knights Jake McNamara. Lamb converts and it is 6-6

HALF TIME: The two sides can't be split at the break and it will be all to play for in the second half

40th Minute: The Knights have taken the lead thanks to their try just before HT and one straight after courtesy of their talented halfback, Jack Cogger. Lamb converts and it is 12-6

50th Minute: A penalty to the Knights right in front 20m out sees them decide to try and extend their advantage to eight and Lamb obliges by slotting it. The Knights now lead 14-6

54th Minute: The Sea Eagles found themselves up in the Knights half for the first time in a while and will head back up their end with some points in the bag thanks to a Mitch Thomas try. The fairly simple conversion is missed and it is 14-10 with around 15mins remaining

60th Minute: Well the match hasn't hit any great heights to be fair but we are at least in for an exciting finish as Manly's Bill Bainbridge runs a great line and bust the defence to score for the Sea Eagles. Once again Manly can't convert and we are locked up at 14-14

65th Minute: A Brock Lamb field goal that never looked like missing from about 20m out sees the Knights regain the lead with just under five mins left 15-14

69th Minute: A try right on the siren to the Knights Jack Mackin puts this one to bed once and for all 21-14

FULL TIME: It wasn't a classic by any means but the Knights won't care as they register their first win of 2014 to the tune of 21-14... Thanks for joining us today and follow us @NSWRL on twitter for all the latest news and scores from all the competitions
