The East Campbelltown Eagles is a club known for strong defence and now they plan to tackle Domestic Violence head on and we take great pleasure in announcing our 2014 partnership with the NSW Government’s Tackling Violence program.

In a first in the Macarthur area, the Eagles will send out the message that there’s no room for Domestic Violence in our Community. In return for sponsorship; The Eagles will have their players and club officials abide by a Domestic Violence Code of Conduct, while continuing the education on domestic violence within the Community.

The 2012 Claytons Cup Winning Club plans to work with the Local Area Command forming a strong relationship with the local police keeping a watchful eye on its club members and addressing any issues that may arise with Domestic Violence.

President Glen Harding said “As a Club we want to be recognized as leaders in community engagement, and we believe our partnership with the Tackling Violence program - Is a step in the right direction, this partnership will give awareness that is needed in our community.”

The NSWRL congratulates the East Campbelltown Eagles on undertaking this wonderful initiative and support them in their endeavours.
