Greg Dowling may have scored the most famous try off the crossbar, but the Wests Tigers have given it a run for its money in this gem of a try at Henson Park last weekend.

Returning from a long injury layoff, Tim Moltzen got through his first match in one piece, and despite not getting the result they would have wanted, going down to the Jets 30-14, Moltzen and the Tigers provided the huge crowd on hand with one of the highlights of the day.

Moltzen put in a raking kick on the last that looked too heavy off the boot, however a fortunate deflection off the crossbar saw the ball elude the Jets defence and fall sweetly into the grasp of Kurtis Rowe, who scored under the posts!

The Tigers are in action once again this Saturday when they host the Warriors at Kirkham Park, Camden with entry on the day just $2... Kick off at 3pm.
