Beaver
Steve “Blocker” Roach sat down with one of Rugby League’s finest back-rowers, Steve Menzies. The Manly product is the most prolific try-scoring forward in history, and gave some interesting insights into his fascinating career in his chat with Blocker.

Jury’s Out
The NSW under-16s State of Origin side are resting up after their defensively-inspired 12-10 victory over Queensland last week. Jamie Feeney took us through an in-depth analysis of the match in a special episode of Jamie’s Jury.

Laurie Speaks
VB Blues coach, Laurie Daley, had a lot to say after the first match of the 2016 State of Origin series. Everything from possible team changes to the injury status of Josh Dugan, and spoke about the role Dylan Walker plays in the side.

Cordner Fears Confirmed
Laurie Daley nominated him as the VB Blues’ best in Origin I, but Boyd Cordner will not be there for Game II after suffering a foot injury during his gladiator-like 80-minute performance against Queensland.

Dropped
Premiership winning and former VB Blues playmaker, Jamie Soward, has been dropped from the Penrith NRL team into the Panthers’ Intrust Super Premiership NSW side, who take on Manly this week at Pepper Stadium.

Newcastle Signings
The Knights are struggling in both the NRL and Intrust Super Premiership NSW competitions, but Mitch Barnett from the Canberra Raiders/Mounties and Brendan Elliot from Sydney Roosters/Wyong Roos have agreed to terms with the club. Elliot is an established first-grader, while Barnett is arguably the best player running around in the Intrust Super Premiership NSW at the moment.

Rescheduled Fixtures Confirmed
After the crazy weather that bypassed Sydney last weekend, various matches across the state had to be postponed. Some of those games have been rescheduled, and you can see them here.
