She'll be at the NSWRL's night of nights to determine who's been Simply The Best - and that's the Rugby League anthem Ricki-Lee Coulter will be belting out at the Brad Fittler Medal Awards.

The former Australian Idol favourite, who was a finalist in the 2004 edition of the series, has been selected to perform at the awards night on Monday, 12 September. In front of representatives from the NSW VB Blues, NSW Women, all junior age groups, NSW True Blues and other special guests, Coulter will sing Tina Turner's "Simply The Best," made famous in Rugby League circles by the NSWRL's TVC campaign of the early 1990s.

Coulter will also be performing hits of her own in a night that will showcase the best NSW talent from 2016. The ceremony, to be held at The Star, will feature awards such as the NSW Under-16s, Under-18s and Under-20s Players Of The Year, the Sydney Shield, Ron Massey Cup and Intrust Super Premiership NSW Players Of The Year, the NSW Women's Player Of The Year and three presigious NSW VB Blues awards. The presentation of The Brad Fittler Medal will finalise proceedings as 2016's best player in the NSW VB Blues is determined. With names such as Jarryd Hayne, Paul Gallen and Robbie Farah featuring in the past, history will be written once again on Monday night.
