The NSW Under-16s jumped out to an early 6-0 lead but were hold out for 70 minutes for Queensland to claim a 10-6 victory at ANZ Stadium tonight.
The Blues were gutsy in holding out their Queensland counterparts to just ten points. However, they struggled in attack, missing several chances to convert their opportunities.
It was a tight, physical encounter as Queensland bounced back to lock the scores at 6-all at halftime.
One try in the second half was enough for the visitors to earn a well-deserved victory.
