It was "Hipster Day" at Henson Park today during the Newtown Jets clash against the Wests Tigers.

The Newtown area is well known for their diverse cultural experiance, so the Jets created the initiative to support the cause.

Newtown Jets RLFC director, Jeff Gabriel, was excited to see the fans dock their baggy pants and man-buns as they supported the team from the hill.

Gabriel has observed and analysed the changing nature in the past 15 years of Newtown's supporter base at Henson Park home games.
