More than 140 girls aged 4-18 descended on UOW Jubilee Oval yesterday, with the chance to hone their skills and meet their Rugby League heroes.

The 'Juniors to Jillaroos' clinic was a first of its kind - the only girls-only school holidays clinic to be held in Australia. NRL Game Development Officers and stars of the Jillaroos and NSW Women's Interstate Team were on hand as the girls got a taste of full-contact Rugby League.

With a large turnout and obvious enthusiasm to meet the Jillaroos, the clinic was a certain success and highlights the continued growth of the women's game - particularly at the grass-roots level.
