The 2017 Intrust Super Premiership NSW season will feature a brand new team, following the merger of Manly and Blacktown to form the Blacktown Workers Sea Eagles. 

The new-look Sea Eagles and the rest of the Intrust Super Premiership NSW competition will be hunting down premiers Illawarra, who finished the 2016 season as champions following a 21-20 grand final victory against Mounties.
