The NSW VB Blues hit the training paddock in Cudgen on Thursday

The NSW VB Blues players have had their day off today – but that doesn’t mean they weren’t busy!

Players either enjoyed the break on the beach or on the golf course, with fun and sun the focus after an intense few days.

Mitchell Pearce and new skipper Boyd Cordner were among those who hit the sand, heading to Byron Bay to enjoy the waves.

Another group, including Jake Trbojevic, James Tedesco, Wade Graham and Jack Bird, meanwhile, hit the links, showing off their golf skills.

Earlier, the boys started their rest and rehabilitation the “traditional” way, playing a hand or two of poker and playing console games.

Tomorrow the team hits the training paddock once again, with their session scheduled for mid morning.
