NSW VB Blues winger Brett Morris has echoed the sentiments of many of his teammates, urging the side to forget their resounding Origin I victory in the lead-up to their second clash with Queensland.

"We've only won one game of football and it's a three-game series," Morris says. "If we don't perform well in this next game then that Game One doesn't mean anything.

"It is a fresh start and we've got to play good to beat this Queensland side."

The team has now completed five days of camp, which has included three sessions at Leichhardt Oval. Today, the side earns a well-deserved day off, giving Sydney-based players a chance to return to their families before coming back into camp tomorrow.

"Obviously it's great being back in camp but I've got a young family so in the next 24 hours I'll be going home to see them," Morris adds. "I think it is (important), family is a big part of these guys' lives and a big reason why we play the game."
