The NSW VB Blues will head south for Origin I next year, with Game One of the 2018 series to be played at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on 6 June.
Next year’s opening Origin clash will mark 25 years since the first Origin match at the MCG, with the NRL planning a pre-game spectacular for the night-time event.
Tickets will be on sale for Club Ticketed Members on Monday, 17 July, and for the General Public on Thursday, 20 July.
Club Members can purchase an adult ticket from as little as $35 and a family ticket from $95.
Early-bird pricing will be available for a limited period. Fans are encouraged to get in early to secure the best-priced seats.
With so many people travelling the last time the MCG hosted a State of Origin (in 2015) the NRL has placed tickets on sale earlier to ensure fans can appropriately plan.
