NSW Under 16s to Face Pasifika

Following a 28-14 victory over Queensland at Suncorp Stadium, the NSW Under 16s will next shift their focus to Belmore Sports Ground, where they will take on an under-16s Pasifika side on Saturday, 28 July.

The follow-up match, to be played at 2.45pm immediately following the Round 19 Intrust Super Premiership NSW match between the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs and Warriors, will be the first meeting between the two sides. It will give more emerging players the opportunity to represent their state and heritage.

While the NSW side is yet to be named, Pasifika's outfit will feature boys of Fijian, Samoan, Cook Islands, Maori and Tongan descent. Coached by former Samoa and New Zealand internationals Willie Talau and Frank Pritchard, a 22-man squad has been selected ahead of Saturday's clash.
