He’s known as the hard-hitting back-rower who has nullified some of the game’s best creative outlets – and he’s happy to do it again at the MCG for Origin II on Wednesday night if required.

Workaholic NSW VB Blue Beau Scott insists he’s prepared to play the role of enforcer in Wednesday night’s MCG Origin clash – if he’s asked by coach Laurie Daley.

Whether chopping down Daly Cherry-Evans or thwarting Johnathan Thurston, Scott knows he possesses the ability to distract the Maroons’ playmakers and have them worrying about what’s coming next.

Scott’s role, though, could be different in this match.
