State of Origin never seems to disappoint.

Having dropped their opening game in Sydney, the NSW VB Blues squared up the series in Melbourne after a monumental effort against Queensland.

Game one, despite the loss, saw NSW centre Josh Morris score one of the great Origin tries. A late field goal to Cooper Cronk meant that Queensland would take a 1-0 advantage heading into game two in Melbourne.

Origin lit up the MCG as rugby league fans flocked the iconic venue to see NSW claim a brutal encounter, levelling the series at one-a-piece with an eight-point victory.

Answer the call and get behind the NSW VB Blues when they take on Queensland in this year’s Holden State of Origin Game III in Brisbane at Suncorp Stadium on Wednesday 8 July. There’s no better way to support the Blues than being a part of the Blatchys Blues crowd - join the Official NSW VB Blues supporter bays for Origin III here.

The Star is the best place to watch the action for Origin III if you can’t make it to Brisbane. Details here.
