Finals fever has arrived in New South Wales Rugby League’s open-age competitions, with 12 teams across three senior competitions vying for a shot at premiership glory.
This week marks the preliminary finals in the VB NSW Cup, Ron Massey Cup and Sydney Shield competitions – and, with so much on the line, you can expect a thrilling weekend of footy action.
This weekend’s VB NSW Cup Fox Sports Match of the Round sees Mounties host Newcastle from Leichhardt Oval, live and exclusive on Fox Sports Channel 501, from 3:10pm
In other NSWRL action, with the Sydney Metropolitan Women’s Rugby League season coming to a climactic finish this Saturday, with two Grand Final showdowns taking place at New Era Stadium.
Headlining the huge double header is Forestville up against Greenacre in a star-studded line up in the first grade grand final at 5:45pm.
