The NSW Physical Disability Rugby League Association held its grand final last month, with the Manly Sea Eagles claiming premiership glory against the Newtown Jets.

In a nail-biting decider at New Era Stadium, the Sea Eagles secured victory late in the match after leading 6-4 for the majority of the second half.

Inspirational Manly captain Dylan Jobson was awarded Player of the Match for his outstanding efforts.

Despite heading into the game as heavy favourite, the Jets were unable to emulate the form that saw them finish as minor premiers.

The grand final curtain raiser saw traditional rivals South Sydney and Sydney Roosters face off for third position. In another close encounter, the men from Redfern prevailed for some consolation.

Thank you to all those involved in running the competition and also to Cabramatta Leagues Club for the provision of such a quality venue for the grand final.
