Winning VB Blues Origin skippers have today unveiled a new training jersey.
True Blues Paul Gallen, Steve Mortimer, Andrew Johns, Laurie Daley, Danny Buderus, Wayne Pearce, Geoff Toovey and Brad Fittler united for lunch to launch the jersey in a bid to create a consistent winning culture ahead of the Origin series.
Printed on the training jersey are all nine winning captains in some of the most iconic Blues moments, including the night Steve Mortimer was hoisted by team-mates after NSW won their maiden Origin series in 1985.
The jersey also features current captain Paul Gallen lifting the 2014 State of Origin shield after NSW claimed their first series victory since 2005, as well as Daley during the 1993 series.
