Bounce Back
The North Sydney Bears put in a terrible performance in shocking conditions last week against Wyong, and the task got no easier against the form-team of the competition, Mounties, this week. However, they completely turned it around to score 20-points in the first half, and eventually won the game 26-16.

Try-a-thon
The New Zealand Warriors and the Newcastle Knights were involved in an interesting match on the weekend, where the defence was almost non-existent but the attack had to be seen to be believed. Eventually, the Warriors scraped in 34-32 to cap off a highly exciting contest.

Double Hat-trick
Newtown absolutely demolished the Wentworthville Magpies on the weekend to the tune of 54-6. Travis Robinson and Jordan Drew had fantastic day’s out, bagging a hat-trick each.

Matches Made Up
Only two games out of 13 Ron Massey Cup and Sydney Shield games took place last weekend due to the Sydney storm, but it could not have come at a better time. This week was supposed to be a week off for both competitions, but five games were organised at the last minute in an attempt to make up the games.

Walkers’ On
Dylan Walker has come under criticism for his Origin debut since Game I, perhaps unfairly due to his limited game time. He responded to his critics perfectly yesterday afternoon, putting on a show against the Penrith Panthers at Brookvale Oval.

Origin Teams Named
In the next 48-hours, both the NSW VB Blues State of Origin team, and the NSW u-18s Origin team will be named. Stay locked on www.NSWRL.com.au in the coming days for constant updates.
