Mounties have survived a very close game with Cronulla-Caringbah to come away with a 30-28 win and climb back to the top of the SMWRL Division 1 Ladder. 2015 Premiers Greenacre continued their surge up the ladder with an 18-10 defeat of Redfern All Blacks to knock them down to second place. The local battle between Hunter Stars and Berkeley Vale saw Berkeley Vale emerge with a convincing 34-6 victory.

In Division 2, Berala maintained top place on the ladder with a tight 30-28 win over Penrith Waratahs. Whilst continuing on their winning way, Glenmore Park were challenged throughout their match with Minchinbury and came away with a 28-26 victory in a week of close games in Division 2. The final Division 2 game saw an improved performance from Maroubra, putting on 22 points to be much more competitive against Chester Hill.
