The NSWRL have today confirmed the NSW Indigenous Under-16s team, due to take on their Queensland counterparts in early 2017.

The side, coached by Paul Bent, was selected following a week-long training camp based out of Wawrick Farm, with the 16-year-olds training alongside the team that played in 2016. With Indigenous mentors such as Ronny Gibbs on hand, the boys have improved their skills and a squad of 20 has ben named. With the ongoing support of KARI, it continues the NSWRL's commitment to Indigenous Rugby League, which also included a Koori Women's v Murri Women's selection trial yesterday and subsequent selection of the Indigenous Women's All Stars today.

While no details have yet been confirmed for the Indigenous under-16s fixture, the full squad can be found below:
