Day by day, we take an in-depth look at every member of the 2016 Intrust Super Premiership NSW Team Of The Year. Today it's one of Wyong's most damaging players: Zane Tetevano.

The rampaging forward was destructive in his return to Rugby League this season, playing in all 24 of Wyong’s games and spending 20 of those at lock. After a year out of the game, the former Knight was unstoppable at times as he managed 11 selections in the Team Of The Week – the most of any player – and helped Wyong into the Semi Finals.

Tetevano finished second in hit-ups made (295) in the Intrust Super Premiership NSW and was also difficult to drag down, running 1,256 metres after contact to come second in that area as well. With 647 tackles and 75 decoys, the 26-year-old was equally effective without the ball for a Wyong side that was at times a genuine premiership threat.

Having been offered an NRL contract for 2017, expect Tetevano to line up for the Roosters at some stage next year - and should he imitate his performances of 2016, expect him to keep his spot.
