Tyson Frizell became a fan-favourite from the moment he pulled on a VB Blues jersey with a debut year to remember.

He was 18th man for the first game and wasn’t supposed to play in the second, but a Wade Graham suspension gave him an opportunity that he took with both hands.

He scored a try in each of the games he played, which gives him a 100 per cent success rate, and was extremely close to scoring a second try in his debut game.

Frizell is a powerhouse for the St George Illawarra Dragons, and certainly displayed those ferocious qualities in the State of Origin arena.

Fans will be hoping to see more of Tyson Frizell in a sky blue jersey.
