February 2016 saw the fourth instalment of the annual Hogs For The Homeless tour, with NSW True Blue Brad Fittler leading the charge across the state’s regional areas to raise money for Father Chris Riley’s Youth off the Streets.

Also including Origin greats Matt Cooper, Steve Menzies and Nathan Hindmarsh, the crew rode their Harley Davidson motorbikes far and wide throughout NSW as more than $141,000 was raised for awareness and prevention of youth homelessness. It means the concept has raised more than $450,000 since its inception in 2013.

This year’s tour also raised much-needed funds for Rugby League clubs around NSW and the crew helped drive Junior Rugby League membership and participation. Approximately 3,000 Rugby League balls were handed out to children across 19 country towns in 10 days.

Always a highlight of the Rugby League pre-season, Hogs For The Homeless is set to go ahead again in early 2017 as the NSW True Blues continue their significant work with communities that need it most.
