One of the greatest boxers of all time, Manny Pacquiao, has shown he is a True Blue NSW Origin fan.

Pacquiao, in Australia ahead of his fight with Jeff Horn at Suncorp Stadium on 2 July, was presented a VB Blues jersey in Sydney by NSW Origin coach Laurie Daley.

Daley said he was honoured to hand Pacquiao what is likely to be his first ever Rugby League jumper.

“He’s a nice guy and very humble – it was great to meet a true champion of the sporting world,” Daley told www.NSWRL.com.au.

“It should be a tremendous match-up against another champion in Horn.

“Obviously Manny is going up into dangerous territory in Queensland so we’re showing our support of him while he’s down in Sydney by handing him our jumper.”

The Filipino fighter was joined at the press conference by boxing legend Bob Arum and former NRL coach and media personality Alan Jones.
