After two weeks of the NSW Challenge Cup, the Concord-Burwood-Glebe Wolves will meet the Macquarie Scorpions in the Country v City curtain-raiser.

The mid-week NSW Challenge Cup - a revival of the former AMCO Cup - has had a successful inaugural season as NSWRL's Ron Massey Cup and Sydney Shield sides took on teams from the CRL's strongest divisions. It signifies a unification of the CRL and NSWRL in a single competition on the eve of the final-ever Country v City clash on Sunday, 7 May.

Concord-Burwood-Glebe, who currently sit in eighth place on the Ron Massey Cup ladder, proceeded to Round 2 of the NSW Challenge Cup following the forfeit of South Newcastle, before defeating the Wests Illawarra Devils 24-14 on 19 April at Leichhardt Oval. They will now take on the in-form Scorpions, who have convincingly defeated the Auburn Warriors and Helensburgh Tigers 34-6 and 40-12 respectively.

With the grand final to kick off at 1:35pm at Glen Willow Sports Complex, fans are encouraged to arrive early as the Wolves, the nominated team from NSWRL competitions, takes on the best of the CRL in the Scorpions. Fans can follow the game on social media with the #NSWChallengeCup hashtag.
