Returning NSW VB Blues halfback Mitchell Pearce fronted the media at The Star on Tuesday morning, as he and the side prepared to travel north of the border ahead of next week’s Origin series opener.
Set to join an illustrious list of halves in sky blue to have played 15 or more Origin games, Pearce welcomed his return to the Origin arena, saying he’s at one with himself leading into Wednesday week’s clash at Suncorp Stadium.
“I’m grateful to be here, I’m looking forward to the opportunity to taking on a brilliant Queensland side, they’ve been very dominant for a long time,” he said.
“I’m in a good frame of mind.”
