More than 650 Indigenous and non-Indigenous boys and girls have starred in Raymond Terrace at the PCYC Nations of Origin Sevens.
The fifth annual PCYC Nations of Origin Sevens tournament at the Hunter’s Raymond Terrace offers children from all over NSW the opportunity to represent their Indigenous nation of origin in support of cultural diversity and Indigenous reconciliation.
The 60 participating teams competing consist of at least three non-Indigenous players. Since its inception in 2013, the event continues to grow, highlighting the important role sport plays in promoting reconciliation.
The two-day tournament is one of many events on the NSWRL Rugby League calendar uniting Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities.
