Morris Announces Representative Retirement
Playing 15 games for the VB Blues across seven series, Brett Morris has called time on his Origin career.
Announcing his intentions in an emotional Instragram post, the 30-year-old winger thanked friends and family for their support throughout his time playing at the 'highest level'.
Morris made his VB Blues debut in Game One of the 2010 series, crossing for four tries for NSW.
It was an absolute honour to wear the Blues jersey for one last time. I'm so proud to have been able to represent my state and my family in the toughest arena of all and have now made the decision to retire from rep football. I've loved the journey and made so many good friends along the way. Most of all I want to thank my beautiful family for sticking by me through the good times and the bad. I wouldn't be where I am today without you and I love you with all my heart. #bleedblue #228 #familymattersmost @nswrl1908 @nrl
