A total of 38 teams and more than 700 players converged in Campbelltown for the inaugural Immortals Conference Championship.

Winning teams from NSWRL Junior League districts, from Under-13s to 17s, battled it out in the round-robin format at Waminda Oval before the pool winners met each other in the finals staged at Campbelltown Stadium. All matches were played over 20-minute halves.

The deciders commenced with Milperra Colts defeating Hurstville United 20-6 in the Under-13s Bronze division after they led 14-0 at the break.

In the Silver final, the Greenacre Tigers came from 4-0 down early in the game to beat Harbord United Devils 14-4 while St Johns Eagles proved too strong for Chester Hill Hornets in the Gold section, running out 30-10 victors.

In the Under-14s Silver final, La Perouse Panthers had to withstand a magnificent second half fight back from the Campbelltown Collegians to win 38-26 after they led 34-0 at half-time.

The Berala Bears, who played with just one reserve all game, came from 12-4 down midway through the second half to beat Beacon Hill 20-12 in the Under-14s Gold final.

A late try to the Campbelltown Collegians saw them defeat Alexandria Rovers 26-24 in the Under-15s Silver final. Collegians led 18-6 at the break but Rovers bounced back in the second half to lead 24-22.

In the Gold division, Bankstown Sports continued on their winnings ways after beating Eaglevale St Andrews 18-10. Bankstown Sports won the Under-13s Immortals Challenge in 2015 and the boys backed up to win the Under-14s final last year.

Mona Vale Raiders won the Under-16s Silver final, ousting the Kogarah Cougars 12-8 after they had established a 12-0 lead at the interval.

In the Under-16s Gold decider, Paddington Colts overcome a 8-0 deficit at half-time to beat Campbelltown Collegians 18-14.

In the Under-17s final, Five Dock RSL scored the only try in the second half but it was enough to snatch them the trophy. The converted try saw them take a 6-4 lead against South Eastern Seagulls and the Dockers were able to hang on for the final 10 minutes of the match.
