NSWRL Recreational Rugby League Programs have seen an impressive uptake across the Sydney district, figures show.

With M8s, W8s and Friday Night Nines events taking place across Sydney, the new tournaments have provided opportunities for people of all ages to participate in fun-focussed Rugby League.

“We’ve seen the numbers at the M8s programs continue to grow, week-on-week, which is a great achievement for all involved,” NSWRL's club and competition co-ordinator Ben James says.

“We’re up to the third week of four (at the Balmain program), with the fourth next week – hopefully we continue to see the numbers rise.”
