The NSWRL today announced iconic global brand McDonald's has teamed up with the NSW Blues, heralding a new era for the team's upcoming State of Origin campaign.
NSWRL Head of Commercial Jodie Cross confirmed McDonald's has joined a growing list of new partners for the Bryden's Lawyers NSW Blues, signing on for two years as the official quick service restaurant partner of the team and NSWRL.
"We are delighted to announce our partnership with McDonald's, one of the most recognisable brands in the world," Cross said.
"McDonald's will assist us in leveraging the NSW Blues and we welcome them into our commercial stable.
"We are looking forward to providing McDonald's customers with a way they can connect and engage with the NSW Blues."
NSWRL Chairman Dr George Peponis OAM said: "Off the field the strength of the NSWRL commercial strategy is greater than it's ever been.
"Last year Blues' apparel and IP partnerships amassed a substantial year-on-year growth, stamping its mark as one of Australia's most lucrative brands."
