Matagi's Good Deed

The Intrust Super NSW Residents squad and staff took time out of their schedule to feed the homeless in Parramatta last night, but Suaia Matagi took the good deed one step further.

The team walked around the streets of Parramatta offering food to the less fortunate, and there was a group of three homeless people sitting down near the end of the walk.

Matagi offered the people some food, but instead of accepting, they asked if the players had any water on them that they could spare.

The players had nothing on them, but without hesitation, Matagi darted off into the local Woolworths and purchased a 30 pack of water out of his own pocket, and gave it to the group of people.

Acts like this that show the true character of a person, and that character as well as playing ability is part of the reason that Suaia Matagi was selected in the Intrust Super NSW Residents side.
